Alex Cunningham strike enough for Stirling to beat Clyde

Alex Cunningham scored the only goal as 10-man Stirling claimed three valuable points at Clyde in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two.

Cunningham secured the victory for the visitors just before the half hour after being set up by David Verlaque.

Early in the second half it was Verlaque's chance to get on the scoresheet but he could not find the target with a shot as the visitors tried to extend their advantage.

Clyde's Sean Higgins shot over the bar as the home side tried in vain to find an equaliser and Mark McLaughlin was then off target with a header.

Stirling held on for the victory despite having Craig Comrie sent off late on for a second caution.
