Title blow for Annan Annan remain five points adrift of Third Division leaders Arbroath after they were beaten 2-0 by bottom club Clyde at Galabank. Clyde went in front in the 18th minute when Jamie McCluskey found the bottom corner from long range. Ian Harty missed three opportunities to haul Athletic level in the first half, putting an overhead kick wide early on, volleying against the crossbar after 32 minutes before heading over from close range eight minutes before the break. After the interval, Bully Wee goalkeeper Bryn Halliwell tipped Kevin Neilson's header over before the away side made the game safe with their second goal in the 65th minute. Pat Scullion headed home from 12 yards after Kevin Finlayson's acrobatic effort came back off the crossbar.
