Wright critical of Spireites defending

The Spireites opened the scoring thanks to a debut goal from new loan signing Ishmel Demontagnac before Russell Penn equalised for the hosts.[LNB]Chesterfield regained the lead with Scott Boden's first touch though their promotion hopes were dented thanks to Greg Pearson's stoppage-time leveller.[LNB]Wright, in charge of operations from the dugout while manager John Sheridan started a touchline ban, said: "The players gave a lot of endeavour, but we were disappointed that experienced players didn't deal with things better in the last few minutes.[LNB]"The two goals Burton scored were bad from our point of view - the first because we didn't react to the second ball and the other equaliser because we didn't deal with an aimless chip into our box.[LNB]"We just seemed to be all over the place and the ball ran free, so we've got to be able to do better than that and defend better if we're going to get promotion."[LNB][LNB]
