Vidal joins Spireites
Chesterfield have signed Manchester City defender Javan Vidal on loan.
The England youth international will remain with the League Two leaders until February 26 and will go straight into the squad for the trip to Shrewsbury on Saturday.
Vidal is a right-back by trade but is also capable of playing on the right-hand side of midfield.
A product of the Manchester City academy, the 21-year-old has previously had loan spells at Grimsby, Derby and Aberdeen.
Coincidentally, he made his professional debut against Chesterfield at Saltergate in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in September 2008 during his time at Grimsby.
