Chesterfield have snapped up experienced winger Kevin Cooper on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old had been looking for a new club after being released by Cardiff City earlier this season.
Cooper spent a month on loan at League One club Tranmere Rovers earlier this season where he made four appearances.
"I am delighted that Kevin Cooper has agreed to join us," said manager Lee Richardson.
"He is a quality player who had other options apart from Chesterfield."
