Spireites eye double boost

Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland is eyeing a double defensive boost with the returns from injury of Alex Bailey and Alan O'Hare. O'Hare has been sidelined since late November after suffering a fractured foot, while Bailey has sat out the last six matches with a hamstring strain. "Alex is coming along very well," revealed McFarland, who has seen his side slip closer to the League One drop zone in recent weeks. "He is back in full training and we hope to organise a reserve team match for him soon to help get him back in the swing of things. "Alan O'Hare is also progressing, but he is still a fortnight or three weeks away from putting himself back in contention."
