Rob Page's first Chesterfield goal was followed by strikes from Mark Allott, Kieran Djilali and a Scott Boden double, with James Collins and Jonathan Hogg replying for the League Two strugglers.[LNB]Darlington had restricted Chesterfield to few clear chances, but their defence cracked in the 37th minute when Page volleyed in a Dave Perkins corner.[LNB]The visitors conceded again in first-half stoppage time when another corner was only cleared to the edge of the box where Allott sent a shot into the bottom-right corner.[LNB]A mistake by Tommy Lee almost let Simon Thomas in but the goalkeeper was punished in the 59th minute when he came out of his area and lost the ball to substitute Collins, who lobbed into an empty net from 35 yards.[LNB]Chesterfield regained their two-goal lead in the 68th minute when Djilali scored from a tight angle, but Hogg replied before Boden sealed victory with two late goals, both coming from close range.[LNB][LNB]
