Spireites set to start interviews

And the Spireites hope to make an appointment before the end of the month or by the first week in June. Lee Richardson's contract was not renewed after it expired at the end of the season and the club have received over 50 applications to succeed the former Blues midfielder at the helm. A statement released by the club read: "Interviews are to get underway next week. Over 50 applications have been received and these have now been sifted down to a short list of those being invited for interview. "The applicants' names are not being revealed by the club at this stage. "An announcement on who has been appointed as the new manager will be made at the end of the interview process, and this could be by the end of May or the first week in June."
