Chesterfield will participate in a Football League initiative to provide free tickets to members of Britain`s Armed Forces this season. `Ticket for Troops' will provide an opportunity for servicemen and women to go and see their local teams all over the country. "Football League clubs have a long-standing and close relationship with the Armed Forces and it is great to see Chesterfield Football Club supporting Tickets For Troops in this way," said Gavin Megaw, director of external affairs at The Football League. "The charity is a fantastic way of giving something back to our servicemen and women and The Football League is proud to be making a contribution to that effort." Chesterfield chairman Barrie Hubbard added: "After supporting the 'Help for Heroes' charity last season we are delighted to maintain our support for the Armed Forces with the 'Ticket for Troops' initiative. "We are looking forward to extending a warm welcome to the b2net Stadium to the brave men and women who risk their lives every day."
