Spireites chief eases pressure

The Spireites have lost just one of their last 10 outings and, after beating Port Vale 2-1 on Saturday, sit two points adrift of seventh-placed Shrewsbury with two games in hand. "I wouldn't say we were favourites. We need to keep on going and take every game as it comes. I know that sounds boring, but it's all we can do," Richardson told the Star. "Results have been going nicely for us in the last couple of weeks but that's not always going to be the case so all we can do is take care of our own performances and results. "We did that against Port Vale, and against a side that were prepared to sit back and defend it was always going to be difficult."
