Spireites boss makes double swoop
Former Bradford frontman Conlon, 31, who has scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Mariners this season, was this week placed on the transfer list along with Jamie Clarke, Danny Boshell and Matthew Heywood. Conlon has made the loan move with a view to a permanent switch and he goes straight into the squad for Chesterfield's home clash against Torquay United on Saturday.[LNB]Boss John Sheridan has also bolstered his side with the signing of midfielder Green, 20, on a month-long loan deal from Championship club Peterborough.[LNB][LNB]
