Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson has had to watch his team's winning momentum melt into the snow over the past week as the weather forced mass postponements.
The Spireites had won two games in a row, against Exeter City and local rivals Notts County, but have since had to sit and watch games against Aldershot and Lincoln City be postponed.
''I'd have preferred to have played those games after winning two on the trot," Richardson told the Derbyshire Times.
"But there's nothing we can do about it. The snow has disrupted our preparation but we aren't the only club to have suffered in this way, many others have been affected."
The former Blackburn Rovers midfielder will at least have a rested and healthy squad to face Shrewsbury on Saturday, with only the suspended Jack Lester and Danny Hall unavailable.
