Shots win to end Spireites run

A second-half header from Hylton was enough to see the Shots claim victory in what was only their second win in eight games.[LNB]Chesterfield had won their last six but the visitors started brightly and it needed a diving save from Tommy Lee to keep out Anthony Straker's early long-range shot.[LNB]Aldershot keeper Stephen Henderson made an excellent save when he parried a Drew Talbot header, while Lee was rescued by left-back Alan Goodall, who made a tremendous block to deny Kirk Hudson in the 22nd minute.[LNB]Henderson turned over an Adam Rundle drive in the 30th minute but Aldershot had been the better side in the first half and went on to take the lead in the 64th minute.[LNB]Substitute Marlon Jackson made an instant impact by winning the ball on the right and Scott Donnelly's cross was headed in at the back post by Hylton. Scott Boden and Goodall went close to equalising in stoppage-time but Aldershot deservedly held on.[LNB][LNB]
