Sheridan seeking new recruits
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has revealed he is looking to sign two more players ahead of the new season.
Sheridan has already added five fresh faces to his squad, with Dwayne Mattis, Danny Whitaker, Craig Davies and Simon Ford penning permanent deals and Ian Morris arriving on loan from Scunthorpe.
But the Spireites boss told the club's official website: "I want to bring in another defender and a wideman who can play on the left and right so we are looking around to bring in who we can afford."
