Sheridan blessed with striking options

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan faces a selection dilemma in attack ahead of the trip to Macclesfield. Summer signing Craig Davies returns to contention after serving a three-match ban for his red card against Barnet on the opening day of the season. Sheridan must decide whether to restore the 24-year-old to the starting line-up or stick with Jack Lester and Dean Morgan. The decision could be taken out of Sheridan`s hands as Morgan, who made his debut in the 4-0 home win over Hereford last weekend, is nursing a minor knock. On-loan Scunthorpe midfielder Ian Morris could come back into the reckoning after being sidelined since sustaining a knock against Barnet, but veteran defender Rob Page (Achilles) is struggling to be fit.
