Rotherham condemned Chesterfield to their first defeat of the season thanks to an Adam Le Fondre goal.Danny Harrison should have given the home side the lead early on but he headed wide from close range. Le Fondre did put United ahead when he superbly lobbed the goalkeeper from the edge of the area. Rotherham goalkeeper Andy Warrington had to be at his best to keep out Dean Morgan and Craig Davies as the home side held on for the points.
