Robertson misses out

Gregor Robertson will miss out as Chesterfield hope to clinch promotion against Macclesfield at the b2net Stadium. The defender suffered a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon during the surprise 3-0 defeat to Hereford last weekend and is expected to miss the remaining five matches of the season. Ian Breckin, Robertson`s replacement at Edgar Street, will come into contention to start while Derek Niven, Ian Morris, Kieran Djilali and Scott Boden are also available for recalls. A certain change will see veteran striker Jack Lester, who has started every home league game this season, restored to the line-up. There could be a familiar face in the Macclesfield side with Dan Gray, on loan from the Spireites, eligible to face his parent club. Victory for John Sheridan`s side, combined with Shrewsbury failing to beat bottom-of-the-table Stockport, would see Chesterfield promoted on home soil for the first time since 1936.
