Richardson denies FA charge

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson has denied an FA charge of improper conduct following an incident in last month's game at Lincoln City. The charge relates to a verbal exchange between the Spireites boss and the referee at half-time, which resulted in Richardson being sent to the stands for the second half of the game. Richardson will seek a personal hearing after taking advice from the League Managers' Association. A frustrated Richardson had approached the referee after both Paul Harsley and Lloyd Kerry were shown yellow cards in the first half of the Red Imps' 3-1 victory at Sincil Bank.
