Richardson keeps feet on the ground

A goal in either half from top scorer Jack Lester and a late third from Gregor Robertson gave the Spireites an emphatic victory over their second-placed visitors. Richardson's side, who have lost just one of their last nine games and climbed a place to ninth after disposing of Dale, are four points adrift of the play-offs with two games in hand over the two teams directly above them. "It is set up quite nicely for us now and we have got the momentum going, although we can't get carried away," Richardson said. "I think we got a little bit of luck at times but maybe we earned that with our first-half performance when I thought we were by far the better side. We could have been further in front at half-time and Jack Lester was on fire. "He can produce goals out of nothing and he is a great asset for us. We make sure we look after him, he is a special player at this level so we do try to cotton-wool him a bit because he can play like he has here."
