Dwayne Mattis netted a late leveller to earn Chesterfield a point and make Port Vale pay for a host of missed chances.The game should have been over by half-time as the home side dominated. John McCombe had already seen a shot cleared off the line by the time Marc Richards ran onto a long ball to put Vale ahead with a cool finish.
