Points matter most - Richardson

18 January 2009 17:50
With the game well poised at 1-1 midway through the second half, Richardson brought on Martin Gritton and Jamie Winter - and the duo repaid their manager's faith to help settle the encounter.[LNB]Despite cries from his own fans of 'you don't know what you're doing', Richardson was proved correct but he was happy to play down the chant.[LNB]Richardson said: "I always like it when I hear that chant because something often happens. I felt that we were under the cosh in the second half and we needed to change things.[LNB]"The conditions were horrendous in the second half so I brought on Gritton to keep the ball up top and to add some maturity to the team.[LNB]"I am just happy for all the fans who came up to support us. Those chants are not important because all that matters is that we got the three points."[LNB][LNB]
