Chesterfield defender Phil Picken has agreed a new contract that will keep him at Saltergate for the next two seasons.
The 22-year-old former Manchester United trainee has made 116 appearances for the Spireites in his three seasons with the club.
Manager Lee Richardson told the club's official website: "Phil's a highly-valued member of the squad so I'm delighted he's agreed to accept our offer of a new extended contract."
Lloyd Kerry and Derek Niven have already penned new contracts with the club this summer while Richardson has also snapped up former Sheffield United captain Rob Page and Port Vale midfielder Paul Harsley since the end of last season.
