Morris keen on move
Ian Morris has spoken of his delight after rejoining Chesterfield on a season-long loan from Scunthorpe.
The defender spent two months on loan at Saltergate last term and is now looking forward to spending a full season with the club.
Morris told Spireites Player: "I am delighted to be here. I just want to play a full season, play as many games as possible and see what happens at the end of the year.
"I wanted to stay here last season but Scunthorpe had other plans. So I am delighted to get everything sorted in pre-season so I can get to know the lads and get fit for the season ahead.
"I had a couple of other offers but I fancied coming back here and the new signings make the squad look strong.
"I don't really know how Chesterfield didn't get promoted or into the play-offs last season. But during my career I have enjoyed a promotion every other year so that sets things up nicely for the new season."
