Mattis doubtful for Shakers trip
Chesterfield will assess Dwayne Mattis ahead of the trip to Bury.
The midfielder did not reappear for the second half of the defeat to Burton on Friday night due to a sore calf.
Jack Lester missed out at the Pirelli Stadium because of a virus and the veteran striker will also be monitored.
The league leaders are without a win in four matches but boss John Sheridan remains upbeat.
He said: "We will stay positive because we are still top of the league and in a healthy position.
"But we do have to look at ourselves because for the last three or four games our performances haven`t really been there and things aren`t going our way at the moment."
