Juan the man for Spireites

Jimmy Juan's second-half strike earned bottom-of-the-table Chesterfield a deserved point as they came away from Leyton Orient with a 1-1 draw.

It was the O's who enjoyed the better of the opening exchanges as David Mooney forced a fine reflex save from Tommy Lee.

Mooney was not to be denied three minutes before half-time, though, as he capitalised on Lee Cook's cross to volley past Tommy Lee.

The Spireites improved after the break, with the introduction of substitute Jack Lester producing an immediate response.

With his first touch, the veteran striker teed up Liam Ridehalgh, who crossed for Juan to drill a shot into the Orient net.

The closest the hosts came to restoring their advantage was in added time when substitute Jamie Cureton saw his cross graze the woodwork.
