Tommy Lee has been voted Chesterfield`s player of the year for the second successive season. The 25-year-old goalkeeper was the only ever-present player during the League Two club`s title-winning campaign. Former Manchester United youngster Lee joined the Spireites from Macclesfield three years ago and will be out of contract this summer. However, talks are underway to extend his stay. Meanwhile, the versatile Drew Talbot collected the Players' Player of the Year award. Traditionally a marauding winger, Talbot spent part of the season as right-back and was also captain for a spell. Deane Smalley, on loan from Oldham, won the goal of the season honour for his spectacular strike against Bradford in February.
