Dave Hibbert's 12th goal of the season gave the visitors a first half lead which they protected despite playing the last half an hour with 10 men after Holden upended Davide Somma.[LNB]Shrewsbury goalkeeper David Button kept his side on level terms with two excellent saves from Ian Morris in the first 20 minutes before Craig Disley and Steve Leslie wasted good chances for the visitors.[LNB]Chesterfield had Drew Talbot stretchered off in the 26th minute after the striker fell awkwardly and the home side were trailing seven minutes before half-time when Hibbert flicked in a Shane Cansdell-Sherriff cross[LNB]Button made another vital save to deny Mark Little in the 55th minute but his scuffed clearance on the hour led to Holden's red card when he tripped on-loan striker Somma.[LNB]Shrewsbury defended strongly as Chesterfield pressed for an equaliser and Paul Simpson's side held on for all three points.[LNB][LNB]
