Downes facing anxious injury wait
The Australian centre-half, who has only recently returned from an eight-month absence with ligament damage, was forced off during last week's league win at Port Vale after suffering another injury to the same knee.[LNB]Downes has had a scan but it will be down to the consultant to identify the severity of the problem.[LNB]It is feared the 24-year-old could be set for another lengthy spell on the sidelines.[LNB][LNB]
