Davies out for Spireites

Chesterfield will be without striker Craig Davies for the trip to Port Vale. Davies misses out against the club where he had a successful loan spell last season as he serves second game of a three-match ban. Ian Morris could be fit after missing the midweek Carling Cup defeat at home to Middlesbrough with a knock sustained against Barnet on the opening day. Jordan Bowery was ill in midweek and could be back in contention as John Sheridan`s side look for another League Two victory. Jamie Lowry looks set to be the only definite absentee as he recovers from the serious knee injury suffered in October. Striker Jack Lester has been nursing a knee problem but is hopeful of being passed fit.
