Veteran striker Conlon arrived at Saltergate on loan from League Two strugglers Grimsby just hours prior to the clash to give Sheridan's injury-hit squad a boost.[LNB]And Conlon didn't disappoint in his first start for the play-off hopefuls, grabbing the only goal of the game with a well-taken strike in the 72nd minute.[LNB]A delighted Sheridan said: "Barry gives us something that is a bit different to what we've got. He has a good scoring record and he knows this division. He was a threat and he did okay in his first game.[LNB]"I thought it was a good team effort and I thought that both sides did well," Sheridan added. "I want a few more of these type of results where we have to grind games out.[LNB]"We had a little bit of luck but I think that we played well and I knew that if we kept at it we would get an opportunity. After our results of late, three points was the most important thing."[LNB][LNB]
