Roberts back for Spireites

Gary Roberts comes back into the reckoning for Chesterfield ahead of Burton's visit to the Proact Stadium.

Roberts has served his three-match suspension for the red card he received during the home defeat to local rivals Mansfield last month and there is a good chance the winger could go straight back into the starting line-up.

Ollie Banks, Sam Togwell, James O'Shea, Jamie Devitt, Ryan Edwards and Gary McSheffrey all began last weekend's draw at Fleetwood on the bench and provide manager Paul Cook with further options.

However, the game on Saturday is likely to come too soon for strikers Marc Richards (thigh) and Armand Gnanduillet (knee).

Striker Billy Kee will miss Burton's trip through suspension.

Kee will serve a one-match ban at the Proact Stadium following his red card during Albion's home defeat to Southend last weekend. Michael Symes, Dominic Knowles and Rene Howe look like they are in a straight fight to replace the 22-year-old, should manager Gary Rowett opt to stick with a 4-4-2 formation and use Adam McGurk as a striker.

Defender Marcus Holness is available again after suspension and goalkeeper Dean Lyness (foot) is expected to return to the bench to provide cover for Jordan Pickford, who this week extended his loan spell from Sunderland.

Rory Delap has resumed training after a hamstring injury, but remains doubtful.
