As you were for Cook

Chesterfield manager Paul Cook has no new problems as his Sky Bet League Two leaders prepare for the visit of struggling Bristol Rovers.

Following last weekend's 3-1 victory at Northampton Cook named an unchanged side against York on Tuesday night and saw his team win 2-0 at Bootham Crescent. The Blues boss must decide whether to stick with a winning formula or make changes to the starting line-up.

Marc Richards, who had to settle for a place on the bench on his return from suspension against York, along with the likes of Nathan Smith, Sam Hird, Sam Togwell, James O'Shea and Armand Gnanduillet are all vying for recalls.

It remains to be seen if Drew Talbot will recover from the abductor problem that has seen him miss the last two games.

Bristol Rovers manager John Ward looks set to be without defender Danny Woodards.

The 30-year-old is nursing a hamstring injury and is not expected to be included in the matchday squad.

Forward Eliot Richards is also struggling with a hamstring problem and is rated as doubtful for the clash.

Midfielder Seanan Clucas is making steady progress in his recovery from a knee injury but he is not ready to make a return to first-team action at this stage.
