Chesterfield v Bradford City Live

No new worries for Spireites Chesterfield have no new problems for the visit of Bradford. The Spireites extended their lead at the top of League Two to six points with an impressive 2-0 victory at Gillingham on Tuesday night. Ian Breckin was rested in Kent after complaining of stiffness following the goalless draw at Shrewsbury but the experienced defender could come back into the team against the Bantams, with Danny Whitaker moving back into midfield. Veteran striker Jack Lester is another who could be in line for a recall, leaving boss John Sheridan with the dilemma of dropping either top scorer Craig Davies or on-loan forward Deane Smalley. Smalley, who has scored four goals in Chesterfield`s last five games, has extended his loan spell from Oldham until the end of the season. Bradford skipper Simon Ramsden could return to the squad following a long injury lay-off. Defender Ramsden, who has made only one appearance this season due to a hip problem, could be named on the substitutes' bench. Midfielder Michael Flynn made his first appearance of the season in an eight-minute cameo role in Tuesday's defeat at Crewe following a double hernia and he may also make the bench. The Bantams will be without midfielder Tommy Doherty, who will finally have surgery to remove a floating piece of bone from his ankle, but new signing Jon Worthington is expected to start again after making his debut on Tuesday. Manager Peter Taylor, whose side have lost their last four league games, could be tempted to recall Mark Cullen or Jake Speight in attack.
