Chesterfield hoping for Davies return

Chesterfield hope to have leading scorer Craig Davies back in the ranks for the visit of FA Cup giant-killers Stevenage. The 15-goal striker missed the 3-2 victory at Southend through illness, but looks set to come back in against Borough. Jack Hunt`s return to Huddersfield after his loan spell leaves boss John Sheridan with a right-back problem given that Kelvin Lomax is out with an ankle injury and Dan Gray is away on loan at Macclesfield. Jamie Lowry could come into the reckoning 15 months after his last first-team appearance. He has recently stepped up his recovery from a serious knee injury, but Sheridan would like him to complete a few more reserve-team games before making a full-scale comeback. Centre-back Simon Ford has played a few games at right-back, while left-back Scott Griffiths could be asked to switch sides.
