Breckin may return
Chesterfield could add defender Ian Breckin to their squad for the visit of Oxford.
Breckin did not travel to Aldershot on Saturday following the birth of his child and may come back into the reckoning.
Dean Morgan missed the weekend victory with a recurrence of the groin injury he has recently returned from, but the forward is not expected to be out for too long this time.
A handful of players are nursing minor knocks but assistant boss Tommy Wright is hopeful they will all be fit.
"Some players have got little niggles but that is always the case at this stage of the season, it is nothing serious," said Wright. "We will see how they are but hopefully they will be available for selection."
