Attack leaves Lee sidelined

11 September 2008 09:18
Chesterfield goalkeeper Tommy Lee is unlikely to play again until the end of October after being attacked on a night out in Sheffield on Tuesday. The 22-year-old, who moved to Saltergate from Macclesfield Town in the summer, sustained a broken jaw when an unknown assailant apparently attacked him from behind. He has since required surgery on the injury and the club is making enquiries about the incident. Lee has made four starts for Lee Richardson's side so far this term.
