Artus heading to Saltergate

Chesterfield have signed Bristol City midfielder Frankie Artus on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for the Robins, but has shown up well during a couple of loan spells with Cheltenham Town - having also enjoyed stints with Kettering Town, Brentford and Exeter City.

City boss Gary Johnson told his club's official website: "Frankie needs to go out and get some games and this should be a good move for him.

"Chesterfield are doing well in the league at the moment and hopefully Frankie can aid their cause, as well gaining valuable experience."
