Wright bemoans player loss

Chester City boss Mark Wright blamed the sale of a number of key first-team players after his side failed to overcome Hereford United in Tuesday's 1-1 stalemate at the Deva Stadium.
The home side looked to have snatched the points after a goal against the run of play by Simon Yeo, but Alan Connell came up with an equaliser eight minutes from time to leave Wright frustrated.
Afterwards, the City boss bemoaned the loss in recent weeks of players such as Roberto Martinez, Gregg Blundell and Jon Walters, who have all departed the club, and revealed he is looking to strengthen his squad in the next few days.
"For us, that's five games where we've conceded just two goals, so we know we have things sorted at the back - it's elsewhere that we need to strengthen," he claimed.
"I think we need a bit of width so we can throw some balls into a targetman.
"We're playing nowhere near where we were when we had all our players at our disposal.
"That loss of a few players has hurt us and trying to find the right players to bring in at this stage of the season is proving very, very difficult."
