Wright: Blues need victories

Chester City boss Mark Wright has admitted that his side need to win games to try and avoid relegation from the Football League.

The Blues haven't taken three points for 18 games and face a tough task to try and prevent themselves from being relegated.

He told the Evening Leader: "A run of three undefeated games really counts for nothing because Grimsby won.

"I know that Bournemouth lost, but Grimsby scored a late penalty so it's disappointing for us.

"I still think we should have beaten Grimsby 5-1 at our place, that would have been a fair result.

"Drawn games aren't quite good enough for what we really want and that is disappointing for the players, because they are giving everything they've got."
