Vaughan confirms six exits

Chester City owner Stephen Vaughan has confirmed that Laurence Wilson, Damien Mozika, James Vaughan, Ryan Lowe, Paul Linwood and Kevin Ellison have all left the club.

Wilson, Mozika and Vaughan have been released, while Lowe, Linwood and Ellison have all had their contracts terminated.

Vaughan told the Chester Chronicle: "We're looking at a clear-out and, once that clear-out is complete, manager Mark Wright will want to bring in the players he's identified.

"James, Damien and Laurence have had their contracts terminated and Ryan, Kevin and Paul have mutually agreed to terminate their deals.

"The remainder of the squad will now be assessed. A lot of them are out of contract and we'd expect more movement shortly."
