Trio return boosts Wright

Chester City boss Mark Wright is looking forward to having defensive trio Phil Bolland, Sean Hessey and Kevin Sandwith back in contention in the near future.

Hessey is currently completing a five-match ban held over from last season, while Bolland and Sandwith are recovering well from shoulder and hamstring problems.

Wright told the Daily Post: "Phil obviously is still tender in the shoulder area, but we will build up his basic fitness and that will assist his recuperation period.

"Kevin looked sharp and he appears to have fully recovered from his hamstring problem.

"When they are both fit again it gives us a number of exciting options.

"With Sean Hessey available following his five-match ban in a week's time, the injury and suspension concerns seem to be clearing up."
