Powell moves to Chester as coach

Chester have appointed former Wigan striker Gary Powell as their new first team coach to work alongside manager Neil Young.Powell moves to the Deva from Rhyl, where he was assistant manager. The Blues have also signed defender Carl Ruffer, who was previously part of the Chester City squad that won the Conference in 2004.
