Chester City have handed promising youngster Robert Marsh-Evans a new contract.
The 20-year-old defender has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal despite seeing his progress from youth to first-team level hampered by injury.
Marsh-Evans suffered a broken metatarsal last season and failed to make a first-team appearance.
"(He) was hampered last season by a broken foot and only became fit towards the end of the season, which did not allow him to show his obvious talents to any great degree," read a City statement.
