Linwood commits to City

Chester City defender Paul Linwood has pledged his future to the League Two club by penning a new two-year contract that will keep him at the Deva Stadium until June 2010.
The 24-year-old former Tranmere Rovers player has been one of Chester's most consistent performers in the last two campaigns, making 88 appearances for the club.
A delighted Linwood said: "It's nice to have your future sorted. The club's done everything for me so I'm made up to have signed."
Meanwhile, manager Simon Davies added: "It was really important for us to get Paul. He's been massive for us this season."
