City rebuff Linwood offer

Chester City have rejected a five-figure offer from another League Two side for the former Tranmere Rovers defender Paul Linwood.
The 24-year-old has been a regular at the heart of Bobby Williamson's defence this season since last summer's transfer from Prenton Park.
Despite stuttering in recent weeks, City are determined to hold on to their better players, with managing director Bob Gray saying: "Paul Linwood's not for sale.
"We see him as one of the players who we'd like to be at the centre of our future development.
"Paul is out of contract in the summer and we're hoping to sit down with him soon and discuss an extended deal.
"He's developed as a player since he joined us and of course it's flattering and only natural that other clubs would like to sign him."
