City pleased with Partridge

Chester City manager Bobby Williamson singled out new signing Ritchie Partridge for praise after his goal set up a Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Crewe.
The winger joined the Blues on a free transfer from Rotherham earlier in the summer and his 61st minute equaliser sent the first round tie into a penalty shoot-out, which Chester won by a 4-3 scoreline.
"Ritchie scored a great goal and we're really pleased with him," Williamson told the club's official website.
"He's put a lot of crosses into the box and it's good to see him putting one in the back of the net."
Meanwhile, City are waiting to hear the extent of an injury suffered by goalkeeper John Danby which forced him off towards the end of the first half.
"It's a bad injury," said Williamson. "It's a deep gash to his head, so we had no choice than to take him off to get it cleaned up and stitched properly."
