Chester keen to land Partridge

The 26-year-old was linked with a move to City last summer before agreeing to switch from Sheffield Wednesday to Millmoor.

Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan confirmed: "Bobby (Williamson) has produced a list of players that he would like to bring to the club, and Ritchie Partridge is one of those players."

The former Liverpool trainee made 36 appearances for Rotherham last term.
