Chester City striker Michael Branch has left the League Two side after having the remainder of his contract settled by the club.
The 28-year-old moved to the club from Bradford City in readiness for the 2004-05 season and scored 19 goals in 66 appearances.
Branch came through the youth team ranks at Everton and made 41 Premiership appearances for the club before moving to Wolves in a £500,000 switch in January 2000.
However, he scored only six goals in 62 League appearances for Wolves and, after spending the 2003-04 campaign with Bradford City, moved to Chester in June 2004.
Branch has also enjoyed loan spells at Manchester City, Reading and Hull City during his career.
