Blues still in Taylor hunt

Chester City boss Simon Davies has confirmed that his club have not given up hope of signing Vauxhall Motors striker Paul Taylor.
The Blues had an initial £30,000 bid rebuffed by Taylor's current club, but Davies says that talks about a renewed offer are in the pipeline.
He told the Evening Leader: "The Paul Taylor situation is ongoing. We're still talking and it's not dead in the water by any means.
"It won't be a massively increased offer, but we need to talk and see if we can reach some agreement.
"We need somebody in the mix and we're trying to bring quality players in to go with the quality that we already have at the club.
"There are areas you always have to build on and with us this time it is literally the spine of the team."
