Blues confirm Ellison bid

Chester City have confirmed that Wrexham have tabled a bid for winger Kevin Ellison.

The 28-year-old only rejoined the Blues last summer, following spells with Hull City and Tranmere Rovers and has netted eight goals in 30 appearances this season.

City owner Stephen Vaughan told the Daily Post: "We will consider the offer.

"However, if the financial valuation doesn't meet ours and more importantly, if the manager doesn't want the player to move on, then the deal won't go through."

Red Dragons boss Brian Little has been busy changing his relegation-threatened squad this month, having already taken his number of new arrivals into double figures.
